This March, I made the drive over to WestWorld in Scottsdale for a morning to watch a couple of classes at the Scottsdale Spring Festival Hunter Jumper Show, run by Collman Equestrian Productions.
I spent time practicing close-up style shots, capturing details and angles that go beyond the typical shot a horse show photographer aims for by shooting with my 70-200 2.8 lens coupled with a doubler that made the range more like 140-400mm.
